Our Annual Memorial Service
Each year, on the 2nd Sunday in December, at 2pm we hold our Annual Memorial Service. The families that we have looked after during the year are invited to remember their loved ones that have gone. Anyone from the community is welcome to attend this Remembrance Service. A light afternoon tea follows the service.
You will receive an invitation to attend for two years. After this time you are welcome to attend other years should you wish to. It is our hope that our Annual Memorial Service will help people in our community come to terms with their grief.
The service concludes with a Roll of Honour. Our in house celebrant Brenton leads the service, and he will read out of all the names of the people that the attendees are there to remember.
You may not necessarily have used our services but you are more than welcome to attend and we will still acknowledge the person or people that you have come to remember on our roll of honour.
