At Faithfull Funeral Services we are able to assist you with all aspects of  choosing a        memorial for your loved one. These days a memorial such as a headstone or plaque can be personalised but must comply with the laws of the cemetery. 
 
With modern technology the choice of photographs and artwork designs can depict the special interests in a person’s life whether it be a traditional or contemporary design our team will create something unique and personal. If there is an image that you have designed and want on the memorial that is fine, but it is no problem for us to design something specific for you.

While we can create and custom make a very large range of headstones and plaques there are council by-laws in every region of New Zealand that will limit what size memorial you are able to place in a cemetery or crematorium.

Bronze Plaques


Basically, bronze is an alloy consisting of copper, tin, traces of zinc, lead, and other elements whereas, granite is a type of igneous rock comprising quartz, mica, and feldspar. Both these materials are attractive, sturdy, and can withstand harsh weather conditions.
 
Bronze plaques are extremely durable and will remain readable for hundreds of years. They are usually mounted to a base of granite, concrete or in some cases a composite material. Bronze Plaques can be made to any size or shape (within reason) and may integrally include logos, badges, emblems or sculptured motifs.

All plaques are all cast from high quality bronze and oxidised to give them a distinctive black back ground. The lettering is computerised or hand set, raised and polished to give a unique colour contrast to the background. Each plaque surface is coasted with clear lacquer to give it maximum protection from the outdoor elements.
