There are a large number of Funeral Homes and insurance companies within New Zealand that offer differing Pre-Payment and Pre-arrangement packages. The choice can seem quite daunting at first.
Faithfull Funeral Services have put together an easy package to cater your needs. Your money will be deposited in an independent Trust Account held by the Bank of New Zealand, in your name but managed by Faithfull Funeral Services. The funds can only be released to pay for the funeral account when the bank is supplied with a copy of the death certificate. Any remaining balance will be returned to the estate after the funeral. Any shortfall will be met by the estate or personal representative of the deceased.
It is important to let your solicitor, executor or close family members know that you have this in place.
