All deaths are expected, some come sooner than we anticipate, some come after a long battle. No matter how much notice we are given, we are never fully prepared for the reality of the death of a loved one.
That’s why it is important to choose an experienced and reliable funeral director who can understand the unique needs of you and your family. Faithfull Funeral Services will guide and outline all the important decisions and choices that are to be made to ensure that your loved one’s funeral is a fitting reflection of their life.

Faithfull Funeral Services know that it is important that you call is answered personally at one of the most difficult times of your life.
When someone dies, the first thing you will need to do is to inform Faithfull Funeral Services who will be able to guide you through the next process and the important decisions that are to be made.
At this time, it would be advised to consider as to whether you wish for your loved one is to be cremated or buried as there will be additional forms for the doctor to complete should you choose the option of cremation. Your funeral director will advise your loved one’s doctor and will arrange for the appropriate time for the securing of the medical certificate of cause of death. During the initial discussion with you and usually within the first 24 hours after the passing of your loved one, Faithfull Funeral Services will make arrangements to:
Transfer the deceased into the care of Faithfull Funeral Services; and
Agree on a suitable time and place to meet with you and all those who wish to be involved in the funeral arrangements.
This can either take place at your home or a place of your choice. The initial meeting is generally 1-2 hours long in duration. During this meeting your Funeral Director will assist you in deciding many practical and celebratory aspects of the funeral as well as recording the statistical information required to register the death with the Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages. A number of legal forms will also need to be completed.
Your Funeral Director will also ask you for appropriate clothing that your loved one will be dressed in. If you wish to, alternatively Faithfull Funeral Services can supply a shroud. If you are undecided as to which clothing will be used then an arrangement can be made for collection of these garments at another suitable time.
